Little Quilter making progress
Love seeing progress images. For everyone else working on their first quilt, take it slow, don’t rush. This is something you can keep forever. I have quilts that are over 70 years old. Ok I may have problems rescuing and collecting both quilts and Afghans. I might possibly have dozens of quilts and well over 100 Afghans.

Augh…. the early stages of a quilt baby.
Here you see a quilt in the wild. At this early stage they are still very simple pieces and not yet attached to one another but with some seams and a good rotary cutter and ruler this stack of squares will slowly become an heirloom. This student’s very first quilt… one day her children and then grandchildren will climb under it or hang it on a wall and know that Nana spent hours using this piece to begin her quilting journey.
