WHat type of fabric am i buying?
Almost all of the fabric on this site is 100% cotton quilting cotton. There are sometimes cotton Lycra blends available, but they will be in separate sections very clearly labeled. Other specialty fabric may become available but will not be in the same section with the quilting cotton to avoid confusion.
How do i know how much to order?
Check your pattern!! Or your tutorial in some cases. There are some things to keep in mind. If a pattern calls for 1/4 yard, they do NOT mean a FAT quarter and vice versa. The same goes for a half yard and FAT half. These are not the same material measurements. one is long, one is more squared. How you need the fabric cut is dependent on the pattern pieces you need to place on it. EXAMPLES BELOW
I cannot source crochet kits and certain other supplies at a price I feel is reasonable. The Tariffs are simply so high now it prices everything right out of reasonable price range.
What I can do is let you know WHERE these items can be found at the best price in classwallet already when possible. Many larger companies had a large volume already in stock before the new Tarrifs and can sell that inventory at prices I could never match.

If you search crochet in Oriental Trading website then hooks and yarn are also available not just the kits. But I cannot even source these kits wholesale for the prices they have them. So this is going to be your best choice.

Currently if you can I would recommend reimbursement on these as they are not very costly and will be impossible to get into the system anywhere near these prices.
I cannot source serger cones at the pricing that you can get a set on amazon. One full set of white and of black cones will suffice for most projects. You will want to get a single cone for the left needle that matches the fabric as closely as possible when you serge stretch knits so that the thread never becomes apparent when its stretched.
Storage tubs - Get this 10 pack next time you are in walmart and store your threads in one, needles and scissorsand rotary cutter ect in one. sort your scraps in a few… remeber NEVER EVER toss anything bigger that 2x2! You can use those to patchwork quilt a nice little bag!

Use these handy boards to organize your fabric in your shelves. Wash and then press your fabric and fold it so that it is about 10 inches tall and long. Then wrap around the board and use the clips to hold it in place. Arrange in a bookshelf to keep your fabric easy to find and free of wrinkles.
