If you want to know how to sew a classic reusable Lunch Bag then this is an awesome FREE video sewing tutorial from Svetlana of Sotak Co.

It’s the perfect beginner bag to sew, or an easy and quick sew you’ll enjoy any time if you have more experience. And of course we all love to sew bags that are practical and will be used often.

Sizing info:
When you make yourself one of these Lunch Bags it will measure approximately 7″ wide by 9″ tall by 4″ deep. It’s fully lined and it features a button and loop closure, which makes it super easy to close and open.

To make this Lunch Bag you will need:

-Two 12″ wide by 15″ tall exterior panels (cotton-linen blend, canvas, or home decor fabric. You should choose a non-directional print

Two 12″ wide by 15″ tall quilting cotton lining panels

One 4″ long ribbon or leather lace or a piece of 1/8 inch elastic

A button and strong thread for the button, and hand sewing supplies for attaching your button

Basic sewing supplies

sewing machine.

***** I would personally add a layer of insulbrite and BAM - actually insulated lunch pail that is super easy to make. You would simply quilt the insulbrite to the outer panel and them proceed with the rest of the pattern as shown.
