Easy Hot Pad Tutorial
THIS is the perfect project for students learning to free motion quilt. The small size and layered sandwich of materials used makes this the best you can put together for practice on design quilting with the free motion attachments on the 6380M machine. Any machine with a free motion foot can be used.
Materials Needed (for two hot pads)
1/4 yard each of two complimentary fabrics OR 2 fat quarters
1/4 yard coordinating fabric for binding
two 9x9 pieces of Insul-Bright**
two 9”x 9” pieces of thin cotton batting
Thread of course and a size 14 or 16 needle
