Easy Zipper Pouch

Another perfect beginner pattern. This one is a great start to learn sewing zippers. and very useful for a student! Put those pencils away in style!

Finished Size: 4-1/2" x 9"

Supplies:

  • Outside Fabric: 1 FQ

  • Lining Fabric: 1 FQ

  • Optional: Fusible Fleece - 1 FQ - you can make the pouch without this but this makes it more structured. But you can use this same tutorial to make a coin purse and skip this part if you prefer. I would also get a shorter zipper.

  • (1) 12" poly zipper

Sample made using Poppie Cotton fabric.

This pouch is the perfect project for beginners a great way to get you started with zippers!
